ReuNight: And just like that… life returns to a new normal in 2022, and social activities seem appropriate, especially when supporting one’s fave non-profit, such as The Family Place.

It’s been over ten years that, in some small way, I’ve supported The Family Place, either by attending events, through media partnerships, participating in Partners Card or as honorary chair of Partners Card in 2018. So it seemed perfectly appropriate to honor my dear friend Mimi Sterling‘s first year as CEO of The Family Place when they invited me to chair the ReuNight annual dinner gala. I’m also excited that my sweet friends Marisa Howard and Roni Proter Kelly will join me as co-chairs and that the legendary retail extraordinaire Shelle Sills will join us as the honorary chair. What a crew!

The Family Place announces Partners Card

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve written about The Family Place and its annual Partners Card week-long shopping extravaganza over the last ten years, too many, but always with fervour and a frenzy that equates its philanthropic M.O—and this year is no exception.

This week The Family Place announced Leigh Danley, Tierney Kaufman Hutchins and Julian Leaver, as the 2018 co-chairs of Partners Card. A triple threat, this bundle of energy is challenged to raise $1M+ across the Dallas metroplex through The Family Place’s signature fundraiser.

Save The Date: Shopping with Partners Card

For the last five years, I’ve supported the crazy shopping frenzy that happens throughout Dallas and the metroplex every Fall, and now that PinkMemo rests deep within the Internet cemetery, I’ve decided that I will continue to support my favourite charities—especially Partners Card that benefits The Family Place.

I couldn’t attend this event, but I am happy to share photos of all the charitable peeps and friends that celebrated the 21st Annual Partners Card kick-off party at Galleria Dallas on June 5th. This year, co-chairs Annika Cail, Katy Duvall and Sara Friedman will face the challenge of beating last year’s $1,115,854.00 achievement, no small feat I might add.
