The Haute Couture Fall 2013 shows unveiled in Paris this week amidst Chanel announcing the date for the Métiers d’Art show in Dallas.  Every Chanel swooning fashionista will be chasing the hottest invitation in Dallas this century on December 10.

Wearing his directorial chapeau, Karl Lagerfeld plans to mesmerize the audience at the Métiers d’Art show with a mini-movie, which he begins filming mid-July in Paris.  Geraldine Chaplin (daughter of Charlie Chaplin) will portray Ms. Chanel with actors Rupert Everett and Arielle Dombasle taking small parts.  The mini-movie will depict the successful arrival of Coco Chanel to America in the mid-fifties, (note quote from Karl in my announcement post earlier this year) which Lagerfeld describes his technique as “old Technicolor—like Paris photos.”  The excitement and anticipation is simply exhilarating, palpitating….I could on…

Dallas is ready for a monumental treat of decadent proportions. Watch the fur fly for this invitation!
