Style: An invitation to dine with Mona Lisa at the Louvre is a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be declined. Last night in Paris, Louis Vuitton invited guests to an intimate dinner in celebration of its latest collaboration with American artist Jeff Koons, titled ‘Masters’. Noting the first time the Louvre has hosted guests within the Denon wing room, Salle des Etats, aka the Mona Lisa room, to dine amidst the Leonardo da Vinci masterpiece.
Besides celebrity guests such as Catherine Deneuve, Chloë Sevigny, Fan Bingbing and Michelle Williams—also in attendance, Da Vinci, Titian, Fragonard, Van Gogh and Rubens. Following the success of past collaborations with Richard Prince, Yayoi Kusama, and Takashi Murakami, this latest collection of Old Masters, represents a new interpretation of reproductions by Koons and the luxury French house, and are all totes to note with a Koons bunny leather charm.
Masters, a collection of bags embellished with famous paintings by each artist with their status symbol names, will also include accessories and will be available at Louis Vuitton boutiques on April 28. Show me the bunny!!
